USPO Event #8 is cracked by Isaac Haxton.


The great stage of the U.S Poker Open 2023 held at PokerGO studios in Las Vegas, is a real success and in its final stage, the last champions are being known. On Saturday night (01), who showed once again a great performance was the American Isaac Haxton.

Accumulating expressive results in 2023, the professional won Event #08 ($25,000 No Limit Hold’em) and won his fifth title this year. Isaac Haxton outlasted 53 opponents to win a cool $423,000.

Ike Haxton’s competition at the final table was very “level”. He had to get past the likes of Joey Weissman, Dan Smith, Bill Klein, Phil Hellmuth, Alex Foxen, Chris Brewer, and Masashi Oya. The final stretch of the tournament was played with only six players.

Haxton had the third largest stack among the finalists and slowly grew his chip stack. First, he eliminated Klein in fourth-place TT against A4. Next, the victim was Dan Smith in a pre-flop all in for 66 against 22.

His last opponent was Joey Wisman, who lost all his chips to Ike Haxton in board action. The play ended in all in on the river, with Haxton showing a flush nuts of and Joey just top pair and flush draw in hearts .
